Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to spend it than listening to a few spooky songs and watching some classic Halloween movies?

For starters, “Monster Mash” by Bobby “Borris” Pickett & the Crypt-Kickers is a must-have for your Halloween party playlist. Released in 1962, “Monster Mash” reached the top 20’s for that year. It is now a common song to be played during the month of October.

“Time Warp” is another classic that never gets old. Featured in the Rocky Horror Picture Show musical, it appears on multiple Halloween albums on iTunes. “Time Warp” is family-friendly, and can get anyone boogying with spooky delight.

“This is Halloween,” from the Nightmare Before Christmas movie, will complete your haunting Halloween playlist. Released in 1993, the many creatures and monsters of Halloweentown sing about the horrors of Halloween.

These songs, as well as many others, can be listened to on Pandora, by searching “Halloween” in the “New Station” browser.

Not a fan of Pandora? Hop on over to good ol’ YouTube where you can not only listen to these classic Halloween songs, but find lyrics to them as well.

What are you waiting for? Start jamming out to some spooky songs and have a happy Halloween!
