Valentine’s Day Gift Options
Prepare for Cupid’s arrow because Valentine’s Day is upon us! Valentine’s Day is a day where you can show the people you love how much you care about them. To take the stress out of gift-giving, here are three potential gift options you could get for anyone, whether it is a significant other, a friend, or a parent.
- Chocolate- One can never go wrong with chocolate! This Valentine’s Day classic is a simple and sweet way to show your loved ones you care.
“Chocolate is something that is commonly liked by many people and there are different kinds to choose from,” said Richelle Marquez ‘20. “So you can get your friends and loved ones the kind they will like best.”
- Letters of appreciation- Remember when you were little and would give all your friends those cute Valentine’s Days cards? Why can’t we still give something like that to the ones we care about? You have something nice to say? Write it down! Writing a letter of appreciation for your loved ones will allow you to express what you like about them and how much they mean to you. Plus, if you’re short on cash, this is an inexpensive gift that can go a long way.
“A letter of appreciation is a personal way to show someone that you care about them, and it can be expressed any way you want,” said Catie Rodriguez ‘20. “So it makes a great gift.”
- Movie tickets- Lights! Camera! Action! Is your loved one a fan of films? Then movie
tickets are the best gift! There are various movie genres and several movie theatres out there, so there is no shortage of films to choose from.
“The thing about movies is that there is no talking during the film, but afterward there is much to discuss,” says Ryan Dudley ‘20. “So people can bond through the shared experience.”
So if you’re having trouble coming up with Valentine’s Day gifts, these simple gifts might provide some inspiration!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
