Girls Volleyball faced off against Masuk on Friday, trying to get the team’s first win of the season in their home opener. The lady Wildcats played a dominant game, beating Masuk by winning the first three games of a best three-out-of five match. The girls were lead by Morgan Schmid ’14 and Elizabeth Galliford ’15, who had an impressive eight kills each. Lindsay Geurcio ’14 played a strong game as well, as she had 20 digs for Bethel. Schmid, a captain, said that “the team played really well” against a hard Masuk team.

“I am very proud of everyone for closing it out” Morgan Schmid added.

The Volleyball looks to get another win on Monday against Weston and away against New Fairfield Wednesday.

Go Wildcats!
