Boys Cross Country (5-6) ran Tuesday at Tarrywhile Park against Oxford and Immaculate. Bethel beat Oxford 25-32 but lost to Immaculate 34-21. Kevin Michalka ‘15 had another strong race, placing first overall and running an 18:34.

Girls Cross Country (6-6) ran against Oxford, Lauralton Hall, and Immaculate at Tarrywhile Park Tuesday. The girls lost to the strong Immaculate squad 47-16 and Oxford 36-19, but beat Lauralton Hall 18-43. Julia Fragomeli ‘16 lead the girls, running a 21:29 and finishing 6th overall.

Field Hockey (4-3-1-1) lost Monday at home to Lauralton Hall, 0-2. Goalie Amanda Nunes ‘16 had 10 saves.

The lady Wildcats played again on Friday in Newtown. The girls won 1-0, behind Goalie Amanda Nunes ‘16 4 saves. Kendra Curry ‘14 scored the goal for Bethel, while Morgan Matthews ‘16 had the assist.

Football (2-2) played in Southbury on Friday against a strong  Pomperaug team. Pomperaug was no match for the Wildcats, as Bethel won 42-20. Joey Piatnik ‘14

Girls Soccer (3-4-2) lost Monday away against New Milford 4-1. Jackie Fernandez ‘15 had the lone goal for the wildcats and Annie Bedore ‘17 had an assist.

The girls played again on Thursday, on the road against Brookfield. The girls won 2-0. Jackie Fernandez ‘15 and Sophia Orrico ‘17 each scored a goal for the lady Wildcats. Goalie Sophia Corbo ‘16 had 7 saves.

Boys Soccer (3-3-3) tied Monday at home against New Milford 1-4.

The boys played Thursday against a strong  Brookfield team on Thursday. The boys lost 1-0 at home. Goalie Matt Liquori ‘15 had 6 saves

Volleyball (6-1) were on the road Tuesday against Lauralton Hall. The lady Wildcats recorded another strong 3-0 win.

The girls played again Friday, and continued their winning streak with a 3-0 win over Notre-Dame Fairfield.
