Golf Team Success

Having a great season performance, the Bethel High School Golf Team might just be one of our top Fall sports of the year. 

BHS’s Varsity Golf Team has made significant progress. Previously placing seventh in states last year, the team managed to secure second overall at SWCs and third at States during the 2022 season.   

The team’s season began in the end of August lasting unitl mid-October. They regularly practice at the Connecticut Golf Club.The Golf team’s coach, Tim Lavelle, bonded well with the team and watched as they improved every match.  

Team Captain, Max Pawloski 24’, placed first overall in the SWC individual championship.

 “I want to thank the team for believing in me and my abilities during the high school season…Being a part of this team has really helped me come out of my shell and have fun,” Pawloski said. 

Setting up for a successful future, the JV team also remained undefeated throughout the season. Eager for the next season, you might want to keep an eye on these Wildcats.
