“At the beginning of the season, I was sitting in my coach’s office and I told them I wanted to break the shot put record and they all laughed at me because it is not my main event. Through all the hard work I was able to break the school record. It is also cool because shot put is one of the events I will be competing in while in college. I am so proud of all my girls on the team,” said Captain Rosie Volpintesta ‘23

Captain Rachael Turek ‘23 agrees with Volpintesta and is proud of her team’s success.
