How to Spend Your Snow Days

It’s midterm week, which means one thing: SNOW! To the best of my knowledge, we haven’t had a midterm week without a snow interruption in my 27 years at BHS. Trust me, I know how to spend my snow days so let me give you a few tips on how to spend them:

Go sledding – What’s that? Sledding is for babies? Puh-leeze. Nothing is more exciting than grabbing your significant other, getting nice and cozy, and sledding down a hill covered in snow. It will be a joyous time.

Watch something on the Telly – If you’re allergic to water like me, you don’t want to be out there in the snow. Stay inside, grab your favorite snack (a balogna and cheese sandwich with the crusts cut off for me), and watch a favorite movie (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) or TV show (Battlestar Galactica).

Play with your cats – Spending hours at school means you’re away from your 83 kittens. Grab a ball of yarn, clean the litter box, and get ready for fun.

Sleep –  Nothing says fun like practicing being in a coma. Take a nap and get some shut-eye. When you wake up, your life will still be as sad and pathetic and depressing as when you went to sleep thirty hours earlier.

Well, I hoped I helped fix your boredom on the snow days. If you need any more advice, contact me at [email protected] I’d be happy to help.
