What To Wear This Fall

It’s not always easy to stay on trend as the months change from summer to autumn. The transition from shorts to jeans can cause fashion complications even the trendiest dressers. Here are some tips and tricks to stay on trend and in style this fall.
- Sweaters
Sweaters are recognized as a trademark fall item. As autumn approaches, the excitement to pull them out of their closet builds once again. Sweaters are a simple item of clothing that keeps you completely warm, comfortable and fashionable. When it comes to sweaters, the baggier the better. Fortunately, loose fitting sweaters are in style this season, and pair nicely with jeans or leggings. Tightly fitted sweaters are also an option and work especially well with jackets. Purchase a sweater with a turtleneck or mock neckline for an even cozier and sophisticated looks.
- Personalized Denim
One of the most popular trends on the runway and street alike this year is personalized denim. The possibilities are endless: jean jackets, denim jeans and even denim accessories, like backpacks. Personalized denim is a great way to express yourself through your clothes this fall, whether you buy accessories already adorned with patches and embroidery, or personalize at home.
- Skirts
Skirts don’t have to be a pushed to the back of your closet once the seasons transition from summer to fall. Although skirts typically leave your legs exposed, temperature concerns can easily be solved with layering a pair of tights or knee high socks to keep you warm. Earth-toned or denim skirts match perfectly with sweaters, cardigans and jackets to accentuate the fall mood. with the autumn mood and can be paired with sweaters, cardigans or jackets.
- Boots
As the temperatures drop and you pack away your sandals, be sure you have a good pair of boots to get you through the fall and winter months. This fall, shorter boots such as Chelsea boots are in style, but classic looks such as combat boots or tall riding boots will work with any outfit, ranging from skinny jeans and a sweater to a dress or skirt.
- Jeans
One of the classic trends each fall are jeans. Whether you prefer skinny, flare, boyfriend or mom jeans, these pants look good with nearly any outfit. This season, the runways are full of jeans with embroidery, frayed ankles and tasteful rips. A pair of skinny black jeans never go out of style, meanwhile light wash “mom” jeans have made a reappearance from the 90s. Any of these types of jeans will pair perfectly with sweaters, jackets and flannels; creating the ideal fall look.
