When we last heard from the Bethel Marching Wildcats, the band came home victorious, winning the national title for Class 2A in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in addition to Best Colorguard!

Since then, the Wildcats have moved up to Class 3A, a more challenging division with larger bands in a more competitive setting.

This transition is no simple task, yet the talented musicians and accompanying colorguard have proven themselves once again.

At the Southington competition on Oct. 21, Bethel received the Caption Award for Best Percussion and Best Colorguard. Later, at the New England States Championships on Oct. 28, competing against bands from throughout the region, the Wildcats received second place with a score of 93.325.

Finally, appearing at Nationals 2017 for the first time as a Class 3 band, competing against over twenty other teams, the Bethel Marching Band placed fourth! We are excited to see what the future brings for our accomplished musicians and marchers!
